Presentation &Composition:
Feed additive powder, Each kg of powder contains 500 g Oxytetracycline.
Indications:
Oxytetracyline is recommended for prevention and treatment of:
-Sinusitis and infections of upper respiratory tract
-CRD
-Infections of gastrointestinal tract, bacterial diarrhea and white diarrhea in chickens caused by Salmonella pullorum and paratyphoid
It is indicated in cases of stress. Also, Oxytetracycline acts as antimicrobial growth promotants antibiotics.
Contraindications and Precautions:
Do not use tetracyclines with compounds containing calcium, iron, magnesium and sodium simultaneously. Oxytetracyclines bind to these compounds, which decrease oral absorption.
Avoid using tetracyclines with penicillins concomitantly.
Dosage and Administration:
Prevention:
100 – 200 g per 1000 kg of food.
Treatment:
200 – 500 gr per 1000 kg of food; for 5-7 days
-According to veterinarian recommendation, dissolve 100 – 200 g of Oxyvet 50% per 500 lit of drinking water
Precautions:
Oxytetracycline is considered as a safe and non toxic antibiotic in poultry.
Medicated water should be consumed within 12 hours after reconstitution.

Egg: 7 days
