AIVLOSIN
(Aivlosin Soluble)
Presentation & Indications:
Water soluble granules, Aivlosin Soluble is indicated for prevention and treatment of Mycoplasmosis (caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, M. synoviae and other Mycoplasma species) and diseases associated with Clostridium perfringens (necrotic enteritis resulting in wet litter syndrome and cholangiohepatitis) in chickens, replacement pullets and turkeys. Additionally it has activity against Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT) of poultry.
Dosage and Administration:
Aivlosin Soluble granules should be mixed in the drinking water at the following dose rates:
As a therapeutic treatment of CRD use in water at 20-25 mg activity/kg body weight for 3 days, normally achieved by dissolving one sachet per 200 liters of drinking water.
To prevent clinical signs of CRD in Mycoplasma positive birds use in water at 20-25 mg activity/kg for first 3 days of life.
precautions:
Do not leave or dispose of water containing Aivlosin where it may be accessible to animals not under treatment. Prevent contamination of water ecosystem by this product.
Dispose of waste and empty packaging safely and in accordance with local waste disposal requirements.
Water-solubility of granules may be increased by acidifying of water.
