Presentation&Composition:
Bolus,Each bolus contains:
Niclosamide piperazine salt: 1250 mg

Indications:
Sheep and goats:
Moniezia spp., Stilesia spp., Avitellina spp. And immature intestinal Paramphistomiasis spp. in the pathogenic juvenile stage.(intestinal stage)

Dogs and cats:
Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum, Echinococcus granulosus (tentatively).

Administration and Dosage:
Niclosam bolus is given by oral administration.

Sheep and goats:
75 - 80 mg of Niclosamide per kg B.W. or one bolus for 15 kg B.W.

Cattle:
60 - 65 mg of Niclosamide per kg B.W. or one bolus for 20 kg B.W.

Dogs
125 mg of Niclosamide per kg B.W. or one bolus for 10 kg B.W.
Cats:
125 mg of Niclosamide per kg B.W. or 1/3 bolus for 3.3 kg B.W.

Precautions:
Sheep  and  goats  can be turned out  to wasteland which will not  be used for  grazing  in the next  weeks  following  the treatment, and which is exposed to intensive sunlight of the infested sheep, the lambs and the yearlings should in the first place be treated. In cattle, it is generally necessary to treat only the young animals up to 6-8 months old, as the older will develop immunity after this time. Niclosam can be used in pregnant animals. Niclosam should not be used in the presence of intestinal atonia in order to avoid the risk of absorption of decomposition of the killed tapeworms.
