DAFLOR
(Florfenicol 10%)
Presentation &Composition:
Oral solution ,Each ml contains 100 mg of Florfenicol.
Indications:
Florfenicol has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity against most of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms which are resistance against chloramphenicol. It is indicated to treat respiratory tract infections and intestinal infections in poultry caused by E.coli and other florfenicol sensitive microorganisms (e.g., Pasteurella multocida, Pasteurella haemolytica, Haemophilus somnus , Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Corynebacterium pyogenes, Streptococcus spp., staphylococcus spp., Clostridium spp.).
Dosage and Administration :
20 mg/kg of body weight, PO, in drinking water (1lit of solution per 100 lit of drinking water); for 5 consecutive days
Precautions:
This product should be used just in broilers.
Avoid using DAFLOR in layer hens producing egg for human consumption.
Do not administer with bactericidal drugs concomitantly.
The color of solution is variable from light yellow to red-yellow, but this color variation does not impress drug efficacy.
Withdrawal times:
Poultry withdrawal time for meat: 5 days
