Oral solution, Each ml contains:
Enrofluxacin 100 mg
Indications:
Due to its wide spectrum of activity, Lortril 10% can be used in single and mixed bacterial infections as well as against mycoplasmosis in chickens and turkeys. Lortril 10% indicated for the control of mortality of all forms of mycoplasmosis and bacteria,e.g. CRD, colisepticaemia, pasteurellosis ( fowl cholera ), infectious coryza and salmonellosis in chickens and turkeys.
Administration & Dosage:
Lortril 10% solution is given by oral administration via drinking water. The basic dose is 10 mg of Enrofluxacin per kg B.W. or 50 ml per 100 liters of drinking water for 3 consecutive days. In cases of chronic and mixed infections or salmonellosis, 20 mg of Enrofluxacin per kg B.W. or 100 ml per 100 liters of drinking water for 5 consecutive days.
Precautions:
Fresh solution should be prepared daily. Do not use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands with soap and water after handling. Use of this product in a manner other than indicated or with dosages in excess of those indicated on the label may result in illegal drug residues in edible tissues. Keep out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Times:
Chickens: Meat: 9 days
Egg: 9 days
Turkeys: Meat: 11 days
